There’s plenty that’s been going on in the Post area over the last week or so.

Callington Cricket Club are in the Group Nine final of the National Club Championship following a superb one-run victory over Devon side Paignton at Moores Park.

The 2021 Cornwall Cricket League season continues to be severely disrupted across the county with only ten games being played to a finish on Saturday.

Callington got in 22 overs at home to St Just before the rain won, while Wadebridge declared on 206-7 at home to Werrington before the weather set in at tea, and never abated.

There were wins for Post area sides South Petherwin, Luckett, Werrington fourths and Launceston thirds, while Werrington seconds, Bude seconds, Launceston seconds, South Petherwin seconds and Tintagel seconds all lost.

There’s reaction from the captains as well as all the scores from the Premier League down to Division Six East.

The Cornish All Blacks, Bude RFC and Camelford RFC now know their schedule for the 2021/22 campaign, while elsewhere there are reports on golf, sailing, point-to-point, tennis and more.
