LAUNCESTON Fire Brigade was called to an incident involving an amount of silage in the South Hellescott area at around 11.30am on Tuesday.
Whilst en route, the appliance came across a two vehicle traffic collision. The crew stopped and gave assistance at the scene and an ambulance was requested to treat two occupants.
Officers gave general assistance and made the area safe. Devon and Cornwall Police were also in attendance.
The fire crew then proceeded to the initial incident and liaised with a second appliance from Launceston which has been sent.
On arrival there was found to be a fire in a silage stack, which officers tackled.
