DURING 2016 Kivells auctioneers have helped raise over £110,000 for local charities and good causes.
Most recently, James Morrish, from Kivells Holsworthy branch, was at Plymouth for an awards dinner raising £3,000 for the Addington fund. David Kivell conducted the annual auction for the ‘Torrington Farmers Hunt’ raising over £9,000 while on the same evening Ian Caunter, from the Exeter branch, was at Tideford raising over £5,000 for Children’s Hospice South West.
Mr Morrish said: “Since 1885 Kivells have been pleased to help charities throughout the region and have had the pleasure of raising over £300,000 for them over the past four years.
“Whether it is selling at a charity auction or conducting a gift auction at one of our four livestock centres our policy is very simple; ‘if we can help, we will!’”
