HUSBAND and wife folk duo Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman will be performing at St Endellion Church on Thursday, October 16.

For three decades Kathryn and Sean partnership has proved personal, permanent and pivotal.
From their roots in 90’s folk supergroup ‘Equation‘ through to be coming a revered duo in the folk music scene this multi award-winning folk music couple continue to exude timeless class with their exquisite brand of traditional and contemporary acoustic music.
2025 sees them celebrate 30 years of their musical partnership with the release of their first live concert album. Titled ‘Another Day At The Circus’ it perfectly encapsulates the intimate poignancy of an evening with a couple at the top of their game.
A lauded singer, Kathryn is held in the highest regard by peers and music fans alike, while is a tour-de-force of modern folk music, either when he’s is on stage or in the recording studio.
Their greatly varied original songs cover such subjects as tightrope walking, wicked mermaids, Norwegian legends, and now thanks to Kathryn, a somewhat lonely whale.
With a story that includes 30 years of music making with the likes of Cara Dillon, Levellers, Fotheringay, Kate Rusby and Show of Hands, Kathryn and Sean have consolidated themselves as pillars of modern British folk.
Kathryn and Sean have twice been voted BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards Best Duo as well as winning Best Duo honours from both Spiral Earth and Fatea Magazine. The duo will also be at The Acorn in Penzance on Friday, October 17.
