A Cornwall drinking establishment has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Rifle Volunteer, a pub, bar or nightclub at The Rifle Volunteer Inn, St Anns Chapel, Gunnislake, Cornwall was given the score after assessment on June 30, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Cornwall's 533 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 398 (75%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
