The Birds on Bikes held a charity bingo to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West. Over 100 local Launceston people turned up to support the event on Friday, March 26 at the Eagle house hotel. The event raised £1513 which will go towards the charity. This event is one of many that the team are taking part.

A member of the Birds on Bikes said: “We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who made this such a great evening!”

The team will be hosting more events including one called ‘Nine’ at Launceston football club on May 14 and another in the afternoon of May 15 where there will be an open garden with cream teas also in Launceston. 

The final charity event will be the Grand Draw which will take place on June 24, there will be lots of super value prizes including the first prize of £250 cash. Tickets can be purchased from Launceston businesses: Zebediahs, Launceston cycles, Gregg’s and Quick & Son.
