DEVON and Cornwall Police are seeking the public’s assistance following a burglary in Bude.

Police are investigating a report of a burglary and have released pictures of three men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

The incident occurred between midday and 1pm, on Friday, January 9, at a property on St Michael’s Road, Bude.

An elderly male was approached about some garden work to be carried out and was asked to inspect it on completion.

He returned to his property later and found a quantity of cash had been stolen.

A spokesperson from the force said: “Officers investigating the incident would like to identify the men pictured as they believe they may be able to assist with their enquiries.

“It was reported that a white van had been in the vicinity and we would also like to hear about any work vehicles that were in the area at the time.
