Police attended a property in Holsworthy on Saturday evening following reports of a road traffic collision and a 'disturbance'.

Officers were called to Croft Road at around 9.45 pm on Saturday, March 4. The scene had been vacated but police discovered a vehicle had collided with a garden wall.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson confirmed: "Police were called to Croft Road in Holsworthy at about 9.45 pm on Saturday 4 March to reports of a road traffic collision and a disturbance.

"Those involved had left the scene but officers found a car that had collided with a garden wall.

"Officers carried out enquiries and arrested a 31-year-old man from the Holsworthy area on suspicion of affray. He has been bailed until 1 June.

"Nobody involved required hospital treatment."
