A 24-HOUR litter pick in aid of Children in Need was held recently, starting in the Triangle, Kilkhampton.

Katie Brind and Paul Crum held the fundraising event as representatives of Bude Rubbish Action Group (BRAG). However, anyone and everyone was welcome to come along to help out and they were joined by many people including the mayor of Bude Bob Willingham and MP for North Cornwall Scott Mann.

The volunteers carried buckets throughout the challenge so people could donate and an online donation page was set up to help boost funds.

The team have raised £871 of their £1,000 target. There is still time to help them reach their target. To donate online visit www.countryfile-ramble-for-bbc-children-in-need-2018.everydayhero.com/uk/katie
