NORTH Tamerton took the honours in this year's Inter-Parish Shoot for the Alexander Cup, following a close contest.

The competition, organised by Pyworthy's team, took place at the Bradford Shooting Grounds and saw North Tamerton and the six adjoining parishes of Boyton, Clawton, North Petherwin, Pyworthy, Tetcott and Whitstone taking part.
