BUDE RFC held their 50th anniversary celebration evening at Penstowe Manor.

Players from the past and present along with families, friends and supporters all gathered at the Manor to reminisce of many wonderful occasions at the club.

Following a mighty successful season which saw them run away with the Cornwall and Devon League to become champions, there was a celebratory mood in the air from the outset.

Bude’s most famous sporting son, former England Rugby Union World Cup winner Phil Vickery was there to give a talk while present officials also gave their piece.

Following that, the Barrel Rock Boys were introduced for a sing-along before many more of the rugby club fraternity took to the ballroom dancefloor to dance the night away.
