AN AMAZINGLY tight finish to Launceston and District Snooker League Division One saw Calstock F triumph by a solitary point over last year's winners Launceston Conservative A. It was their first victory after playing in the league for many years. On the very last match of the season any one of four sides could have won the league, with Lifton A and Colin Park also in with a shout. Calstock always looked to be in pole position however, and secured the title with a 4-1 victory at home against Kelly Bray.
