ON Saturday, Bude set up to play the strong team of Caradon at home. Struggling to get into the game straight away, Bude seemed to hold back and not show the hunger for the ball the Caradon displayed.

A large majority of the first 20 minutes was messy on both teams behalf and Bude weren't showing the level of play that they were capable of. Although the team began to switch on and great straight balls and zig zag passes enabled the forward players Cassie Walker and Leanne Stanbury to put pressure on the 'keeper. The first half ended 1-0 to Caradon.

The team talk highlighted that the link players weren't being used as much as they could be, and the forward players for Caradon were putting pressure on the defence to put the ball wide.
