KILKHAMPTON remain fifth in St Piran League Premier Division East following a 1-0 victory over bottom side Bodmin Town on Saturday.
The Lambs, who saw goalscorer Henry Lumley and Harry Nancekivell named joint man-of-the-matches, won it when centre-half Lumley converted from the spot.
North Petherwin also enjoyed a 1-0 success as they won at Sticker Reserves.
The Badgers were looking to build on their Cornwall Intermediate Cup victory at St Dominick and it was once again Mark Elvidge who got the decisive touch, this time in the 68th minute.
Altarnun’s inability to stop conceding goals cost them dear at a Looe Town side who stay sixth.
The Nuns trailed 3-0 before Alex Shopland pulled one back before half-time, and although Toby Knights made it 4-2 before the hour, the Sharks completed their victory which came via Barny Stephenson’s hat-trick and a brace from Jimi Taylor.
Kane Thomas’ hat-trick helped St Dominick gain a vital victory over fellow strugglers St Breward.
Karl Croft put St Breward in front before Jayden McGall made it 2-2 in the 71st minute.
But the Doms, who went ahead through Adam Snowdon, won it as Thomas scored after 79 and 84 minutes.
The other game to survive saw pensilva see off St Newlyn East, 2-0.
No fixtures were played in Division Two East or Division Three or Four.
Lifton Seconds did advance in the Devon Intermediate Cup as they thrashed their Witheridge counterparts 7-1.
Braces from Liam Rich (10 and 35) and Ralph Finnimore had the West Devon side 4-0 up at the break which were later added to by George Probets (55) and sub Jack Theobald (65 and 80).
Just one game involving clubs in the Post area survived in the North Devon League as Morwenstow Reserves thrashed Holsworthy Thirds 6-0 in Intermediate One.
