LAUNCESTON AFC celebrated the opening of their new changing rooms on Sunday with a match against Plymouth Argyle Legends.

The new changing rooms are a huge improvement to the club and increases their ground grading allowing them to enter FA competitions such as the FA Cup and the FA Vase for next season.

The Clarets fielded their own team of legends with players from the last two decades returning to grace the playing field at Pennygillam.

Launceston goalkeeper and event organiser Paul Hider said: “The day was a massive success with the game finishing 0-0 — although neither side had enough energy to finish on a penalty shootout!”

Launceston AFC extended their thanks to the Argyle Legends for agreeing to play the game and hope that everyone who attended had an entertaining afternoon.
