BUDE Town FC received the East Cornwall League Runners Up Trophy from the competition's chairman Mr Chris Greenaway following their final home game against Bere Alston on Wednesday, May 22.

This achievement means the side are promoted in to the South West Peninsula League Division One West.

After finishing fourth last season, and narrowly losing out on promotion to Sticker, a concerted effort was made this season to ensure the necessary position.
