MEMBERS of the Launceston branch of the Royal British Legion gathered at Plusha to witness the handover of a 'Wreath of Respect'. RBL Cornwall county chairman, Steve Lewis was also in attendance to see Mo Ayling from the RBL Devon Riders branch hand the wreath over to Steve Howard of the Cornwall Riders branch. The wreath was made by Andy Hall at Powderham Forge, Exeter, in memory of all those who died in the war and incorporates a horseshoe donated from Horse Guards Parade to remember the horses and their handlers who played a big part in World War One. For the full report, and a round-up of the area news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.
