A collection of 15 paintings created by Andrew Yeomans is being exhibited in the Blanchminster Room at the Castle in Bude until Thursday, October 15.

Andrew began his collection just after he married and has been creating pieces reflecting events that have occurred since then up to the present, with examples from his honeymoon in Rome to one piece referencing ballet and culture.

The exhibition is entitled ‘New Beginnings — Wonder and Woes’. His pieces are mixed media with materials including water-based oils, acrylics, sand and sometimes even bits of ‘rubbish’. He describes his style as abstract/semi abstract and was pleased after seeing this collection brought together for the first time in the exhibition space.

The event is free entry and all are welcome to take a look between 10am and 5pm daily.
