Bude-based Cambridge Weight Plan (CWP) consultant Anne Marsh has returned from a visit to Kenya thanks to her successful fundraising for Just a Drop.

Water exercises, pamper days, snow walks, raffles, sponsored slims and school-based healthy eating competitions have resulted in Anne raising the most among her Cambridge colleagues.

As a result she was sent to the Just a Drop projects in Kenya to see what the money raised has been used for and to be a CWP (Bude) ambassador. She took a banner on her visit to present to the community.

She said: "The banner that has been produced shows a border of names of all those businesses, groups and individuals who have contributed but also shows Bude to people who will probably never see such vast amounts of water and lush green vistas.

"My thanks to everyone who has made this possible, Spencer Thorn Books, Martin Group Services and Ministry of Signs in particular for their constant support and donations."
