A LORRY had to be freed after becoming stuck on Laun­ceston’s Dockacre Road last week.

The FedEx branded vehicle became wedged on the corner at the bottom of Angel Hill, at around 7pm last Monday, August 15.

The incident was reported to police at around 7.20pm.

A police spokesperson told the Post the lorry was removed at 8.55pm.

l A broken down vehicle was understood to be the cause of a road closure on Launceston’s St Thomas Road, at around 5pm on Sunday. August 20.

Local diversions were put in place.
