A WATER fountain has been installed in a Camelford play park in a bid to reduce the amount of plastic waste sent to landfill.

It has been installed in Camelford Skate Park courtesy of ‘Our Only World’, a Cornish charity which aims to restore ocean health with solutions including the installation of water refill stations.

A spokesperson for Camelford Town Council said: “This installation is part of a wider project across the country to help restore ocean health by reducing the need for single use bottles and by raising awareness.

CTC would also like to extend a thanks to Eagle Plant Camelford for providing free use of a jet washer and bowser to help clean the skate park last week: it's now looking even more fantastic as a result!”
