SIXTH Form students at Launceston College have achieved outstanding A level success again this year — with sixteen students, 28% of applicants, achieving places at prestigious Russell Group universities.
Principal Bryan Maywood said: “We are all hugely impressed with the success of our students. It is a testament to their hard work and commitment and to the support given by all Launceston College staff.
“The results see students performing at the highest levels nationally and it is rewarding to see that many will be going to the most academically challenging universities.
“Their success is a result of seven years hard work both in the classroom and beyond, with the resilience gained from a whole range of sporting, performance and community orientated opportunities proving invaluable.”
