WHILE tractors on a road in the rural areas in and around Holsworthy are not the most unusual sight – the spectacle of so many in honour of one of the town’s sons was something to behold.

The Mali Dubois Memorial Tractor run was held in honour of Mr Dubois, who passed away aged 18 from his injuries after a road traffic collision in April 2025.

Tractors both modern and vintage were joined by a significant gathering of people for the event, which was held as a fundraiser to raise money for Devon Air Ambulance and BRAKE, the road safety charity.

As well as being a fundraiser, it was a fitting tribute to the ‘kind and gentle’ young man for whom agricultural engineering was both an interest and a promising future.
