LEWANNICK Amateur Dramatic Society played to full houses with their 69th annual pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

They performed the traditional tale with many hilarious twists and turns involving some rather large dwarfs and the usual sprinkling of local humour and innuendo.

‘Snow White’, Rachel Dean, was accompanied by her band of oversized dwarfs, played by; Sarah Fry, Will Pascoe, Sue Jacks, Caz Jones, Sam Thomas, Bridget Thomas, Nick Smith.

The cast also included Phil Pridham as ‘Nursie’, Keith Jones as the dashing ‘Prince Harry’, Claire Powell portrayed the ‘Mirror’, the ‘Huntsmen’ were played by Keith Jones, Kathryn White and Chloe Smith and the servants included Amber Jeffrey, Gemma Thomas, Ellie Butler, Anna Parsons and Tia Abbot.

The pantomime was adapted and directed by Jenny Eno, who also created the costumes.

The stage crew and props team included Larry Rowse, Lizzie Grant and Chris Spooner and the sound and lighting was by David Eno and Terry Jasper.

The cast’s make-up team was Margo Pridham and Rachel Dean and the scenery was created by Rachel Dean.

Programmes were thanks to Vicky Jones, Bridget Thomas and Launceston Print.

The performance kept the audience laughing, singing and good-naturedly booing until the final curtain.

Generous support by all who attended resulted in the sum of £2,400 divided between Cornish Blind Charities, the air ambulance and Wired — Brain Injury and Stroke support in Cornwall.
