A 12-stone Newfoundland dog named Ted has been recused in a four-hour operation after he fell down a steep cliff at Morwenstow.

Ted plunged down the 150ft cliff but luckily landed on a ledge.

Cliff rescue teams from Hartland, Bude and Port Isaac rushed to the scene after the dog disappeared over the cliff on Saturday.
