It’s been busy at St Joseph’s School in Launceston this week, with students back from the summer holidays and learning underway.

Year 7 pupils made an excellent start to their senior school journey this term as they spent some time exploring Lanhydrock House and Super Tramp with their tutors Mrs Budd and Mr Payne, and Head of Key Stage 3, Mrs Gardner.

Year 7 weren’t the only ones to be out and about this week though, Years 5 and 6 enjoyed a team-building day at Roadford Lake. The group fully embraced the weather and had a go at archery, raft building and kayaking!

Finally, Year 10 Art and Textiles students have been getting stuck in this week creating fun prints with new Gelli Plates. The Art students have been experimenting with creating Picasso-inspired portraits, while Textiles students have been experimenting with creating different textures.
