STAFF at the Launceston branch of Vision Express have embarked upon a fundraising challenge this week to support the retailer's 25 year anniversary, in support of nominated charity the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT).

The staff from the Launceston store will each walk 25 miles on a treadmill in a bid to raise money for CHECT, a charity helping families affected by a rare form of eye cancer called retinoblastoma. The event started on Monday (October 7).

Staff are urging local residents to get involved by visiting the store and donating, and in exchange, all donors will be entered into a prize draw to win a pair of sunglasses.
