ST Swithin’s Church, Launcells, held theur usual Remembrance Sunday service on Sunday, November 13.
Andrew Hargreaves laid a wreath of poppies at the war memorial, which resides within the church.
There was a two minute silence, and attendees listened to the Last Post, played from the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London.
Peter Judson led the group in their prayers, and gave a personal sermon, telling the story of his grandfather, who was killed at Ypres.
