TEACHER at the college is trying to organise a unit of work in citizenship with Year 9 students that promote community cohesion between the younger and older generations.

The idea is to get a group of 'older' local people who would be willing to do a 'speed dating' type event in June with up to ten students where the youngsters would ask about things like 'What were things like when you were at school?' Also such things as what the older generation think of the younger generation here in Launceston.
