THE Arthur W Bryant Funeral Service has installed ‘Memorial Christmas Trees’ in its Bude, Camelford and Holsworthy offices.

They invite the public to remember their loved ones at this time of year by writing a personal message on a memorial star and placing it on one of the branch’s memorial trees.

Jane, who is among the many to have already attached a memorial star to one of the trees, said: “Christmas is a hard time of the year when you have lost someone dear to you. The idea of a chance to write a message to your husband or loved one at this time of year seem so unimportant to others, but to us as a family it’s a way of showing that they are not forgotten”.

The opportunity to write a memorial star is available to anyone who has lost a loved one, whether the funeral was carried out by Arthur W Bryant or another funeral director.

Funeral director Graeme Sutherland from the Camelford office said: “Christmas is a time for reflection and remembrance and we invite you to dedicate a memorial star in memory of a loved one, a friend or colleague who cannot be with us.”

This year Graeme has arranged for a memorial Christmas tree to be donated to the Camelford Methodist Church.
