THE Pupil Forum and UNICEF members at St Stephens Academy, in Launceston, have been very busy this half term encouraging their peers to take part in the worldwide event Operation Christmas Child.

There are hundreds of underprivileged children all around the world.

The Pupil Forum and UNICEF members decided that they wanted to make underprivileged children’s Christmases a little bit more special by donating a present-filled Christmas shoebox.

Miss Goodman, the Pupil Forum link teacher said: “I was really impressed with the response we received. It was wonderful to see so many children take part and donate a Christmas shoebox.”
