In autumn sunshine, 120 supporters attended the Launceston branch of Cancer Research UK’s annual coffee morning at the White Hart Hotel, Launceston. The Christmas card stall, together with that of local produce, was kept busy while the raffle was run by Julie Mills and local helpers. The first prize, a Christmas dinner, was won by Mrs Phyl Sleeman. The chairman, Maureen Ryder Gordon thanked everyone for attending, the committee and helpers for their dedication in organising the event. The amount raised, to date, is £750.
