ASPIRING golfers will be given the opportunity to hone their skills if plans proposed by Launceston Golf Club come to fruition.
The club plans to utilise two fields adjacent to the course as potential practice and development areas.
Although no formal application has been made to Cornwall Council the club has made an informal approach to advise the planning committee of its intentions and to sound out any thoughts it may have.
The club will have to approach Cornwall Council for permission to change the ten-acre plot of land's usage from agricultural to leisure in order to create the practice areas.
