NEW children's play areas on the Ridgegrove Estate in Launceston were opened by Cornwall Councillor for Launceston Central, Alex Folkes on Friday, August 12.

The top play area comprises an 'eagles nest' swing, a set of conventional and toddler swings and a 'witches hat' climbing frame. The lower play area comprises a natural wood agility trail and the council hopes to add more pieces of equipment in this area in due course.
