OVER the past week, a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme has been set up in Marhamchurch.

PC Gary Luxton, Bude Rural Neighbourhood Beat Manager, said: "This will serve to keep local people more informed of any criminal activity in their area and assist in providing information to the local police to deal with any issues that may occur.

"I will be setting up a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme in Jacobstow soon, and look to have a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme in each one of my 10 parishes that I cover in the near future."
