ONE hundred motorsports enthusiasts enjoyed an exclusive evening with intenational motor-racing star, David Brabham, at the Falcon Hotel in Bude on Wednesday, May 15.
The three-times Le Man winner, son of Jack Brabham, visited North Cornwall to help raise funds for Bude's historic tidal swimming pool.
"I have been fortunate to have raced in a time where safety improvements have saved many lives," said David, "not like when my father was racing in the 1950s and 60s, when there were many fatal accidents.
"So I am delighted to support the Bude sea pool as they also strive to give the people of Bude and the holiday visitors somewhere safe to swim and stay healthy."
