The Mill House, part of Cornwall's Experience Hotels Group, raised the money through the 2008 Experience Golf Day held at the Bowood Golf Course. Ninety two golfers of varying standards took part and the event included a dinner, with many prizes provided by Experience Wines of Truro.
It was the third charity golf day organised by the hotel and the most successful yet. Other fund raising events held included a wine tasting challenge, a duck race in the stream at The Mill House and a fireworks display.
Precious Lives is raising money to help build a hospice for children in Cornwall; Cornwall Air Ambulance relies totally on donations to help transfer injured people quickly to hospital, and Macmillan Cornwall improves the lives of people affected by cancer locally.
Owner Kep Forbes said: "The three charities are all Cornish based and also high in many people's minds here. We are delighted to be able to help raise money for these wonderful causes; and would like to thank everyone who contributed either their time or hard earned cash to make our fund raising events such a success."
Kep said Experience Hotels and Experience Wines are now looking at additional ideas for more fund raising events.
