POLICE in Launceston are appealing for information to help find a missing man.

Harry Atkinson, aged 55 years, from Altarnun was reported missing from his home on Friday, March 16 but has not been seen since March 7.

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Harry is described as a white man, approximately 5ft 10in tall, large build, with mousey short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue top and jeans.

He walks with the aid of a walking stick and is believed to be carrying a ruck sack on his back and also a sports bag.

Police have asked that if anyone sees Harry or anyone matching his description that they contact them 101 quoting police reference 230 160312.
