FIRE appliances from Holsworthy, Launceston and Hatherleigh, along with the water bowser from Barnstaple, attended a barn fire at Luffincott Barton, Tetcott, on Monday (December 13).
Crews confirmed that one, two storey storage shed measuring approximately 5m by 10m was well alight. Two hose reels, one main jet and the water bowser were used.
At around 3.30pm crews had withdrawn from the building due to unsafe structure, a swing shovel was used to take down the unstable areas of the building.
Around 4.20pm a mechanical digger remained in use to remove the contents and make the building safe.
