Pupils from Reception Class at Lewannick Primary School recently visited Lawrence House Museum, Launceston. The theme for their work this term is 'A Sense of Place' and they have been finding out about houses and homes in the past. Sylvia and Margaret at the museum helped the children to wash clothes with soap and a washboard and then to turn the handle of the mangle. The children had a great morning and have expressed their thanks to the staff for all their hard work.
