AS?A?result of winning this year's South West regional finals, Alison Penno was elated when she found out that she would be entering in this year's Chelsea Flower Show.

The area finals were held in November, when Alison had to design and make a bouquet for a bride getting married in an ice hotel.

"That was the easy bit compared to what I had to make for Chelsea," she remarked.

Alison is a florist at the Launceston family business 'Flower Scene' and was surprised when she found out that she had won at the awards evening, allowing her to take part in British Florist of the Year at Chelsea Flower Show.
