LAUNCESTON’S Young Farmers are getting set to raise more money for charity through their annual dung run.
In the last three years, the club has raised £4,500 through its dung runs alone, and chairman, Amy Trehane, hopes this success will continue with the community’s support.
Amy said: “We would really love to sell a huge amount this year — our benefiting charities this year will be The Farming Community Network and Riding for the Disabled.
“All the dung comes from local farms and is obviously great for the garden and veg patch!”
This year, bags of dung are £2 a bag and will be delivered this Sunday, February 26. To book call 07946 579835.
Through other efforts, in the last three years Launceston YFC has managed to raise £7,500 for various local charities.
