LAUNCESTON Tourist Information Centre (TIC, which has been under the stewardship of Launceston Town Council since April this year) is quietly celebrating a successful summer season.
The TIC, which is supported by a team of dedicated volunteers and has been open six days a week all through the summer, is working to promote the town and help both tourists and locals alike. Located inside Launceston's historic Market House Arcade, the TIC now sells a range of books, maps, postcards and stamps as well as souvenirs and local artwork.
