Launceston Cricket Club members took part in their fifth consecutive NatWest CricketForce Weekend on April 4 and 5. By involving members young and old in this national event, club stalwarts were able to organise cleaning, painting, creosoting, rubbish collection, a dump run, and a bonfire, all of which helped get the club grounds ready for the new cricket season, which starts later this month. New members are always welcome at the club; the Juniors section holds their registration evening for all young cricketers aged 7 to 15 years on Monday, April 20, 5.30pm at the Club Ground, Lawhitton.
