Launceston author Jane Nancarrow held a book signing at Launceston Tourist Information Centre in the White Hart Arcade recently.
Due to demand, Jane has had a reprint of her novel Stones and Shadows, that she wrote nine years ago.
It tells the story of a young woman who is very depressed after her male friend killed himself. She wants to get away from everything and so goes to live in an isolated cottage on Bodmin Moor, where she starts to see Charlotte Dymond and becomes captivated by it.
Jane, who has written four novels to date, said the book signing was a ‘last-minute arrangement’ but she was delighted with the response received.
“We had a nice little gathering of people. Some people were disappointed as they thought I had written another novel!”
Copies are available from the TIC or from Jane direct at 2 Duke Street, St Stephens, Launceston, PL15 8HJ.
