A race with a difference is being organised by Holsworthy’s Mayor to raise funds for eight local causes.

Mayor Cllr Nigel Kenneally said: “I am delighted to announce that I will be holding a Charity Snail Race to raise funds for eight local charities/groups which are Holsworthy Area Sports Pavilion, Holsworthy Rural Community Transport, Holsworthy AFC, Holsworthy & District Lions Club, Holsworthy Community College PTFA, Holsworthy Mutual Aid, Holsworthy Amateur Theatrical Society and Holsworthy Scouting Group.”

Tickets are £2.50 each and will be available from Holsworthy Town Council offices.
