THE North Devon Blood Donation Team have visited Holsworthy for the last time, to be replaced by a less frequent visit to the town.

Following its review on collection plans, NHS Blood and Transplant announced in May that changes to the frequency of visits from donation stations to some areas will be made, effective from October 1.

Donors will still be able to give blood, but it may be less frequent and some will have to travel further.

Holsworthy will be visited by the Exeter team, with the next event planned for March.
