TICKETS are available for the next performance by a beloved Holsworthy theatre group.
A spokesperson for HATS said: “Holsworthy Amateur Theatrical Society (HATS) are thrilled to be bringing Arnold Ridley’s The Ghost Train to life this July.
“In the 100th anniversary year since the comedy thriller was first produced, prepare to be entertained as the theatre whisks you away to a small Cornish wayside station, where six unsuspecting characters become accidentally stranded.
“Despite ghostly stories told by the psychic stationmaster attempting to clear the station as he locks up for the night, all six remain in the waiting room until morning, a decision they soon regret.
“The Ghost Train is directed by Mark Venner, with a strong cast of eleven talented HATS members, and a creative team of backstage crew and sound and lighting technicians. Patrons can expect to be taken back to 1930’s England to meet this unlikely group thrown together by circumstance, and will enjoy a plot twist as unexpected as the ghost train foretold by the station master.”
Tickets are available now online at www.holsworthytheatre.co.uk, and the Box Office at HATS Theatre will be open on Saturdays 10am to 2pm from Saturday, June 21.
