THE Wyvern (Bude) Friends' Group held a bucket collection at Sainsburys, on Friday, December 12, for the Children's Hospice South West and raised £365.50.

Eileen Rendle, who is the representative for the Bude area, was invited to a presentation at the Children's Hospice at Little Bridge House, Fremington, last Saturday week by the Mini Car Club.

The Mini Car Club holds its 'Grand Tour' each August, raising many thousands of pounds. This year, it did not take place, but is planned again for August 2015.

Several Minis arrived at Little Bridge House, where the car club presented and donated two mini buses, both especially adapted for wheelchairs etc — one for use at Little Bridge House, and the other for use at Little Harbour, Porthpean, St Austell.
