LAUNCESTON parish churches have launched the ‘Food For Thought Café’, which offers a good quality free brunch in St Marys Hall, on the third Saturday of each month, along with a theme.

The first café was on the theme of harvest, and guests enjoyed the food, chat and various craft activities and puzzles around the theme.

The second café in November was on the theme of remembrance. This coming Saturday’s café will be about the true meaning of Christmas.

The café is open to anyone who wants to drop in.

Rector of Launceston, the Rev Jane Everitt said: “We really enjoy welcoming people to the Food For Thought Café, who would never attend one of our Sunday services.

They can drop in and enjoy the good food, along with chat and fun puzzles around our theme for that café.”
